Uwemedimo Udo rolls out Service Charter for Uyo Local Government
…Charter to complement Completion Agenda
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Uyo Chairmanship Candidate for the October 31 Local Government Elections, Dr Uwemedimo Udo has rolled out his Four Point Service Charter with which he said he would develop the council if elected.
Dr Udo while stating his Service Charter said his administration will leave no stone unturned in critical areas with Five cardinal points being:
1. Human capacity development
2. Rural areas development
The Chairmanship hopeful said, he is offering Service alone on the strength of the Five Point Charter, which he stressed, will be streamlined to complement the Completion Agenda of His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel.
He thanked the leader of the PDP in the State, Governor Emmanuel and the Party and Uyo Stakeholders for trusting him with the mandate to become the Standard bearer of the PDP, pleading to unite Uyo for sustainable development and progress, if elected.
Dr Udo observed that, his emergence is divinely orchestrated and the challenge yo render selfless service to Uyo is overriding and he cannot afford to fail the enormous expectations of the people.
In a related development, a former Commissioner for Science and Technology and prominent son of Uyo, Mr Samuel Effanga has pledged his support for Dr Udo stressing that his emergence holds great promise, impact and realtime development for the people. His words:
