December 2017 would ever remain a fresh memory in the mind of Mr. Emmanuel Eno Nsek as the former able-bodied man was involved in a fatal accident where he ended up losing both legs.
Narrating his present predicament to our reporter, Mr. Nsek who was downcasted said that the accident which occurred in December 2017, involved a trailer and a keke which he boarded.
Continuing in tears, he said that the trailer driver who lost control ran into the keke where everyone except himself escaped alive.
According to him, he only woke up to see himself in the hospital where his two legs were amputated. Nsek who is a computer operator informed our reporter that life has never been the same again for him as he has to live from hand to mouth to be able to take care of himself and his family.
Nsek who has a wife and two children called on government, churches, corporate bodies, individuals and non governmental organizations (NGOs) to come to his aid in form of empowerment as he wants to use his hands to fend for his family and not to beg for alms.
“I don’t have a wheelchair, my legs are gone but I still have my two hands and I can still use them to work to support my family as I don’t want to go round begging.”
He said that kind hearted persons and organizations willing to help him can get him through 07010924584 or send funds to UBA with account number 2101964166.
